Champagne today is called all sparkling wines, similar to the drink produced in French Champagne. However, it will still be more correct - sparkling wine.

- big name of the manufacturer;
- preferably cork;
- no traces of glue, evenly glued label;
- the inscription “champagne” or NM indicates that it is a status wine.
What matters is how the bottle is opened and the filling process from it:
- elite varieties should be "breathed in"; when opened, there should be no popping, flying cork, and the like;
- the smaller the gas bubbles, the better, they form a light foam, which settles leaves a mark on the glass;
- the liquid should be transparent, without sediment, but the color depends on the variety.
How to drink and serve a New Year's drink
Champagne is served chilled, for this it is put in the refrigerator in advance, it is best if the temperature is maintained at 6-8 degrees. The shape of the glass is narrow, the walls are high. This is necessary in order to feel all the colors of taste and aroma.
The uncorked bottle is stored only in a closed lying position so that the drink comes into contact with the cork. Store it in a dark place at a temperature of 8 to 11 degrees.
