The cost of such pipes is high, so it is not suitable for every case.
The most common and easiest way to reduce noise is to soundproof an existing pipeline. To do this, use a special material created under the shape of the pipes.
The most commonly used foamed polyethylene or rolled foil material. To choose the most suitable, you need to look at the characteristics in the label, paying attention to the ability to absorb decibels. Also, the stiffer the external sound insulation base, the longer it will last.
How to make noise insulation with your own hands
For noise isolation of sewage, it is easiest to wrap the pipe with insulating material, for this foam polyethylene will be used.
To begin with, the surface of the pipes is degreased with suitable solutions. Vibration-damping material is applied to the pipes to cope with structural noise. It is pressed tightly to the pipes with a roller to remove all bubbles. Next, foamed polyethylene is taken, which wraps the riser and is screwed onto clamps or construction tape with a step of 5 cm.
The procedure is repeated with all pipes of the sewer drain.
